What You Will Be Doing

As a Staff Accountant, you will be a key contributor to our daily accounting operations and month-end close. Your work will help ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting and support the smooth functioning of the department. In this role, you will:

• Prepare and record journal entries with accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain and update the fixed asset system
• Manage multiple priorities and meet recurring deadlines
• Generate internal and external financial reports
• Cross-train and provide backup support for various accounting functions
• Assist in implementing and maintaining strong internal controls
• Support continuous improvement of the month-end close process
• Perform other accounting duties and special projects as assigned

What You Will Bring

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; equivalent experience considered

Experience:

• 3+ years of professional accounting experience

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong 10-key skills
• Experience with Sage Intacct or Bill.com is a plus
• Comfort working with databases and accounting applications

Soft Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and strong organizational habits
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates at all levels
