 Manager - Business Development 


We are looking for superlative hustlers, stellar problem solvers and remarkable team players. Everything else is a plus plus. We are looking for folks who make the success of their customers the center of their universe, who push themselves and team members around them to solve problems in the best manner possible.


Responsibilities: -


  • Develop a keen understanding of Velocity products, identify specific prospects to approach and establish product value proposition for their business and use case

  • End to End account ownership from calling , pitching, negotiating and closing the deals

  • Building relationship for establishing profitable, long-term relationships with potential key/strategic accounts

  • Strong knowledge of B2B sales 

  • Minimum 2 year of experience required 


Qualifications: -


  • Excellent at verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow you to build trust and credibility with external partners

  • Adaptability to change within a fast-paced startup environment, ability to handle uncertainty and ambiguity

  • High Bias for action & hunger for growth

  • Prior experience in Business Development in B2B SAAS, Fintech, Banking or similar will be an added advantage

Process: - 


  • Process: 2 interviews 
    This gives you an opportunity to get to know the core team better and evaluate whether you’d like to spend a large proportion of your day with these individuals.

  • Total duration: We’ll try and fit in our entire process into a two week window, not including the time you might need for any assignments

  • Interview content: The discussions test functional expertise, potential team dynamic, ownership levels, problem solving and creative thinking. Sometimes we ask open ended hypothetical questions, other times we just talk about your approach to solving problems. Irrespective, all discussions have a defined framework for success. By doing so we try to rule out the impact of personal biases on hiring decisions.
