ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
You will support the tech team and assist the Compliance function in Americas which includes Latin America, the Caribbean, and North America, under supervision. This entry-level role offers valuable exposure to a variety of tasks within a fast-paced global environment, and this role will be directly reporting to the Senior Manager, Compliance.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Ensure all required regulations and licenses at the Entity, State, District, and City levels are active across Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Monitor filings, respond to regulator inquiries, requests, or objections.
- Develop and implement remediation plans for any instances of non-compliance across AMERICAS countries.
- Perform administrative and organizational tasks, including maintaining compliance documentation, managing filing systems, and requesting payments when required.
- Collaborate with legal teams, and Country Legal Representatives to identify, assess, and resolve potential compliance risks or issues.
- Support Bid/Sales teams with accreditation during bids.
- Demonstrate strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and proactivity in identifying compliance gaps.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure SITA remains aligned with all applicable regulatory and legal requirements.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Law, Business Administration, or Economics.
- 2+ years of experience managing compliance requirements in Latin America. Experience in a large scale firm is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Ability to review and analyze changes in the regulatory environment.
- Strong research and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to travel as when required.
