About the role: This role will be working for our Mars Wrigley segment, where we keep chocolate flowing and create daily moments of joy.

Role Title: Packaging Technologist
Location: Asquith, Sydney NSW
Hours: Full-time
Reporting to: Manager - Product and Packaging DS1

What you’ll do:

  • From primary packaging through to our eye-catching pre-pack displays, you’ll partner across the business to imagine, create, and launch innovative packaging solutions that excite consumers and drive business growth!

  • Lead impactful packaging improvement initiatives that elevate our efficiency, minimise wastage and fast track our sustainability goals.

  • Manage and safeguard the accuracy of our packaging information across the business systems that power our planning, compliance, manufacturing, and reporting.

Your unique ingredients:

  • Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Design, or equivalent degree preferred. Certificate in Packaging at a minimum.

  • 2 years packaging development experience in a Food Manufacturing environment working in Quality, Food Safety, Engineering, or Packaging/Process Development.

  • Working knowledge of food processing or packaging technology is highly preferred.
