The Financial Clearance Supervisor Oncology, Financial Clearance is responsible for supporting the day-to-day department operations for assigned area via workflow management, data analysis, and quality control of financial clearance activities. The Supervisor, Financial Clearance must have a clear understanding of revenue cycle processes from the time of scheduling, through the insurance verification processes performed during pre-registration, familiarity of governmental and non-governmental payor, managed care contracts, regulatory requirements for billing purposes and professional competency to maximize reimbursement and minimize financial risk to Johns Hopkins Hospital. The Supervisor is responsible for assisting in reviewing work schedules, individual performance evaluations, on-going training and maintaining of departmental and enterprise wide policies and procedures applicable to financial clearance activities.

Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Administration, Finance, or related field or 4 years of leadership experience in hospital receivables.
- Minimum of two (2) years supervisory/lead experience role
- A minimum of four years healthcare and hospital receivable experience with a large academic medical center or health system.
- Experience in using team building and quality management concepts to positively influence the work environment.

Salary Range: Minimum 27.05/hour - Maximum 47.35/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
