We are seeking a Medical Assistant who wants to:
Contribute to patient-centered care across multiple service lines and locations
Work collaboratively on a flexible care team that values adaptability, compassion, and mutual support
Help deliver seamless, high-quality clinical coverage and support for diverse patient needs

What You’ll Do
▶ Room patients, take vitals, collect medical histories, and prepare them for provider visits
▶ Assist clinicians in examinations and procedures across departments (e.g., women’s health, behavioral health)
▶ Document patient information accurately and timely in the EHR, ensuring smooth handoffs and visit flow
▶ Manage exam room inventory, clean and disinfect rooms, and process instruments (including autoclave)
▶ Collect and process lab specimens, label appropriately, and prepare them for testing
▶ Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and care teams
▶ Partner with clinical leads and other MAs to improve workflows, suggest improvements, and meet performance goals
▶ Support quality improvement, compliance, and community engagement aligned with Premier’s mission

Qualifications
▶ High School Diploma or GED required
▶ Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program (or EMT / Paramedic)
▶ Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
▶ At least 1 year of clinical experience; 3 years strongly preferred (including pediatric and adult care)
▶ Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic) willingness to train and gain certification
▶ Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
▶ Ability to travel between Premier sites as needed
Bonus / Preferred Skills
▶ Experience with vaccine administration, lab draws, or medication refills
▶ Prior exposure to multiple clinical disciplines (family medicine, behavioral health, OB/women’s health)
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 30–50 lbs
• Sit for extended periods, use computer frequently
• Travel between clinic locations
• Exposure to communicable diseases, clinical environment
