The Department of Public Health's Children's Medical Services (CMS) is seeking a well-qualified individual to fill the position of Physical Therapist I.
All interested employees who currently hold the payroll title of Physical Therapist I are invited to submit a cover letter, their resume, and copies of their last two (2) performance evaluations.

Position Duties
- Provides physical therapy services including evaluation and intervention and developing home and school activity programs for children and adolescents from birth to 21 years of age, with certain medical conditions.
- Making appropriate recommendations and referrals per assessment findings, documentation within agency guidelines and participation in their case management.
- Determining functional goals and developing treatment plan.
- Uses treatment approaches appropriate to the patient’s needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Must currently be a permanent Los Angeles County employee who has passed their initial probationary period and currently holds the payroll title of Physical Therapist I.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with all levels of staff and diverse agencies.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Excellent organizational skills.
