Assistant Guest Services Manager

We are hiring for a new operations assistant manager. Our operations team at Ozarks Heritage Preserve assists guests during their visit from the initial ticket sale, to learning to drive our golf carts, around our amazing museum, and more. This property has beautiful scenery and artifacts connecting guests and staff with nature and our earliest conservationists.

The Assistant Manager oversees leads and staff ensuring we have great customer service, an accurate POS system, and happy guests. Not only will this position work on these goals, but also with daily reporting, counting down tills, and tracking sales. Ozarks Heritage Preserve strives to offer excellent customer service and assistant manager play a big part with this goal.

Ozarks Heritage Preserve has two pieces: Lost Canyon Cave Trail and the Natural History Museum. The Lost Canyon Cave Trail is a self-guided electric cart tour through an Ozarks landscape and cave, and the Ancient Ozarks Natural History Museum celebrates the people, wildlife and history of the Ozarks region. Day in the Life of an Assistant Guest Services Manager

Assistant Managers ensure all staff members are in uniform and ready to start their shift. Assistant Managers have daily open and closing tasks including cash till procedures, tracking and reporting on sales, and assisting staff and guests. This position works on scheduling, timecard approvals, and overall staff communication. There is a Manager on Duty rotation so managers know when they are needed on the front lines for staff breaks and questions.
