We are seeking an experienced and performance-driven Retail Manager to oversee end-to-end retail operations, drive category performance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences across all retail channels. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in retail marketing, operations, multi-channel retail management, and retail sales analysis, with the ability to lead teams, optimize store performance, and drive revenue growth. This role is best suited for professionals with 5–10 years of experience in retail management who thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused, and data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
Retail Operations Management
- Oversee daily retail operations to ensure high operational efficiency, adherence to SOPs, and consistent customer service standards.
- Manage store performance, stock levels, inventory accuracy, replenishment cycles, and shrinkage control.
- Implement and improve retail processes that enhance productivity, reduce operational gaps, and strengthen the overall customer journey.
- Lead and mentor store teams, ensuring effective scheduling, training, and performance management.
Retail Marketing & Brand Execution
- Develop and execute retail marketing strategies to increase footfall, improve brand visibility, and maximize customer engagement.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to implement in-store promotions, visual merchandising themes, customer engagement activities, and brand campaigns.
- Ensure alignment between brand identity, store presentation, and customer experience across all touchpoints.
Multi-Channel Retail Management
- Manage and integrate operations across physical stores, online platforms, and marketplaces to deliver a seamless omni-channel experience.
- Ensure consistency in pricing, promotions, and customer experience across all retail channels.
- Collaborate with e-commerce teams to optimize product listings, stock availability, order fulfilment, and customer service.
Retail Sales Analysis & Business Insights
- Analyse sales trends, category performance, customer behaviour, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare regular business reports covering KPIs such as sales, conversion, footfall, ASP, ATV, sell-through, and margin contribution.
- Recommend action plans for slow-moving categories, pricing optimizations, assortment planning, and promotional strategies.
- Use data-driven insights to improve product mix, inventory health, and revenue outcomes.
Retail Category Management
- Lead category planning by analysing past trends, customer preferences, and competitor movement.
- Define category strategies, including assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and lifecycle management.
- Work closely with merchandising, supply chain, and vendor partners to ensure timely availability and optimal category performance.
- Drive category-wise profitability through effective SKU rationalization, stock rotation, and demand forecasting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in retail operations, retail marketing, category management, or multi-channel retail.
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs, inventory dynamics, and store performance metrics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to use data, analytics, and market insights for decision-making.
- Hands-on experience with retail management systems, POS platforms, CRM tools, and sales reporting dashboards.
