Sterilization Technician

Job Summary
The Sterilization Technician cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes medical and dental instruments, ensuring they meet safety and compliance standards. They manage equipment inventory, deliver supplies, respond to urgent requests, and maintain accurate records and proper storage conditions.
Working under the Direction of the Dentist and Operations Leader, the tasks and responsibilities of a Sterilization Technician include but are but not limited to:
- Responsible for cleanliness of the dental practice
- Sterilize dental instruments and materials using the ultrasonic and autoclave
- Report on equipment and instrument failures and/or misplacement
- Maintain OSHA compliance
- Setting up and breaking down of operatory rooms
- Dispose of sharps as mandated by OSHA
- Collection, preparation and organization of dental trays, instruments and equipment for scheduled dental visits
- Proactive in leading and supporting the Marquee Dental Culture by maintaining a positive, friendly, and supportive disposition
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned
