THE WORK
You will help develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts while supporting new technology adoption to improve efficiency, cost and quality.
In this exciting role you will:
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling in a collaborative environment.
• Support the adoption of new technologies and processes, including automation, robotics, and computer aided manufacturing software, to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Create and analyze 3D based model data to optimize manufacturing processes and digital work instructions.
• Define operation procedures and build sequences leveraging material knowledge and automation expertise to drive operational excellence.
• Evaluate equipment and tool performance, including IoT devices, to verify efficiency and initiate corrective actions for any deficiencies.
• Develop statistical process control approaches using factory data and integrate reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical input to product design regarding concepts and specification requirements to maximize equipment and manufacturing technique utilization.
• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, to clarify issues, promote solutions, and deliver information concisely.
• Champion a Culture of Accountability and practice Full Spectrum Leadership daily.
• Prioritize a safe work environment through collaboration with the Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH) department.
• Maintain eligibility to obtain and sustain a DoD Secret Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Accommodate an irregular schedule and work overtime as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• Experience creating assembly instructions derived from engineering technical drawings
• Must have experience with Solumina and SAP, working with Manufacturing Bill Of Material.
• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance. US Citizenship is required.
• Must have experience with electronics and mechanical assembly manufacturing

Ability to Work Remotely:Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
