Position: Audit Manager – Newnan, GA

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate, organize, and schedule engagements to ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Provide timely feedback on each engagement to foster staff learning and development.
  • Review complete sets of financial statements and related disclosures for compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control documents by meticulously reviewing work papers.
  • Conduct research on accounting issues and offer effective solutions.
  • Efficiently plan and manage engagements to ensure timely completion.
  • Develop expertise within assigned niches to enhance service delivery.
  • Monitor product quality and personnel performance to uphold high standards.
  • Maintain CPA certification and fulfill Continuing Professional Education requirements.
  • Assist in special projects as assigned by Partners.
  • Cultivate new client contacts and foster beneficial relationships for the firm.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services for existing clients.

Qualifications:

  • CPA Certification Required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in public accounting, with at least 3 years as a senior (in-charge) accountant.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills and proactive initiative.
  • Proficiency in conducting research and analyzing collected information.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage a heavy workload while maintaining organization.
