- Support hands-on event builds, décor, and installations.
- Work with the marketing team to ensure events align with the Ballerina Farm brand.
- Gather guest feedback to help improve future events.
Retail Grocery Support
- Help oversee day-to-day operations of the farm grocery store.
- Assist with inventory and restocking for both the store and kitchen.
- Support merchandising, pricing updates, and product presentation.
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards are consistently followed.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on seasonal offerings and product needs.
- Track basic performance metrics and help maintain budgets.
Leadership & Team Support
- Assist in supervising event staff, grocery associates, and seasonal team members.
- Help train staff and maintain a positive, guest-focused work environment.
- Lead by example with professionalism, reliability, and strong customer service.
- Step in to support any area as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Need
- Proven professional experience in event management and/or hospitality, with additional background in retail, grocery, or food service management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and departments simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a farm-based, rugged, and hands-on environment.
- Knowledge of event permitting, local compliance, food service regulations, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in Excel, technology tools, budgeting, and inventory systems.
- Creative, adaptable problem-solver comfortable switching between strategic planning and physical, hands-on work.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and around animals.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
