THE ROLE
Pure Storage is seeking a partner enablement professional to drive Pure Storage's Partner Technical Enablement within the Commercial Line of Business.
The Senior Manager of Partner Technical Readiness will take a structured approach to the partner enablement process, with special attention to technical training for our Partner Systems Engineers (SEs). This individual will seize the opportunity to prioritize and organize regular requests coming from Pure’s Lines of Business, Product Business Group, and Product Marketing to provide clear direction and align on field and partner priorities, capabilities, and needs to meet and exceed partner training demands.
Aligned to our overall partner enablement strategy as well as our vision for an optimal partner technical seller experience, this exceptional contributor will assess, develop, and uplevel key launch and enablement roadmaps, plans of record, and communications to build out world-class partner enablement programs.
This critical role will report directly to the Director of Partner Enablement, in Pure’s Partner Experience group. A critical requirement for this role is to establish credibility with both Pure’s product and marketing teams as well as Partner Technical Manager teams, to fully understand their key needs and goals. This leader will set clear expectations on awareness and structured learning available to them. Establishing and driving a high level of cross-team collaboration, this role will have a powerful impact on the productivity and scalability of our Pure partner technical sellers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner Technical Readiness Program
- Define, plan, and execute a cohesive enablement strategy for partner technical sellers (Partner SEs).
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Marketing, Field, and Partner organizations to prioritize enablement initiatives supporting solution launches and partner sales motions.
- Program Design & Development
- Design and manage structured technical partner enablement journeys, including foundational, advanced, and specialization training, aligned to the Partner SE persona and role competencies.
- Coordinate program lifecycle and content operations in partnership with Learning Solutions Architects, Instructional Designers, and Alliance Enablement teams to ensure timely updates and delivery.
- Support and measure launch impact designed for the Global Partner Organization (GPO) audience including provided product & solution communications, events, and training; the change management of onboarding/ongoing partner enablement programs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Technical SMEs to translate product updates, launches, and feature releases into structured technical training content.
- Coordinate with product marketing and partner marketing to ensure consistent partner messaging across internal and external channels.
- Program Execution & Delivery
- Measure and report program impact — define success metrics, track progress, and communicate outcomes through dashboards and quarterly business reviews.
- Drive partner feedback loops to identify learning gaps, assess readiness levels, and continuously enhance training relevance and accessibility.
- Utilize a variety of industry-leading project management techniques and practices to ensure the high quality & on-time delivery of product/solution enablement launches, and alignment with Commercial Line of Business’ KPIs for shared effectiveness and productivity.
- Own and orchestrate the global Partner SE Bootcamp program - develop the core agenda and supporting framework in partnership with Partner Technical Managers, manage SME-sourced content, and ensure consistent, high-impact in-person delivery across regions.
- Thought Leadership & Advocacy
- Represent Partner Technical Enablement in global readiness calls, enablement councils, and go-to-market launch processes.
- Champion scalability by documenting repeatable processes, toolkits, and frameworks for field partner enablement teams.
- Stay current with instructional design and AI-assisted learning technologies, incorporating emerging approaches to accelerate knowledge capture and design workflows.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the {{OFFICE_LOCATION}} office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 10+ years of experience in partner enablement, technical training and/or enterprise technical sales experience, ideally within enterprise technology, SaaS, or data infrastructure environments.
- Deep understanding of partner ecosystems and the role of technical presales professionals (SEs, architects).
- Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional programs involving multiple business units and global stakeholders.
- Experience building or scaling structured enablement frameworks (learning paths, certification programs, or readiness roadmaps).
- Strong grasp of LMS/CMS systems (e.g., Intellum, WorkRamp, Skilljar, Seismic) and learning content lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to synthesize technical and strategic topics into actionable enablement plans.
- Analytical mindset, comfortable with metrics, surveys, and dashboards to measure adoption and readiness outcomes.
- Strong project management discipline, with attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Experience with Pure Storage solutions or similar enterprise infrastructure technologies (storage, cloud, data management).
Skills
- Exceptional program management skills, execution, and results demonstrated through strategic collaboration, follow-through, and data-driven evaluation.
- Hands-on exposure to partner program design, technical certification, product launch readiness and partner technical sales effectiveness.
- Deep knowledge of learning best practices, technical competencies, and competitive pressures that ensures delivered training meets partners and field expectations.
- Proven ability to leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate knowledge capture, content structuring, and learning design workflows, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and quality.
- Ability to work autonomously in a global, fast-paced, and matrixed environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related technical or learning discipline.
- Technical certifications in cloud, storage, or data ecosystem technologies preferred.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
