Head Volleyball Coach
Job Summary:
Jimtown High School is seeking a passionate, skilled, and dedicated individual to lead our varsity volleyball program. The Head Volleyball Coach will play a pivotal role in developing athletes, fostering teamwork, and building a competitive and successful volleyball program.
Key Responsibilities:
? Develop and implement practice plans tailored to skill development and team improvement.
? Teach and promote the fundamentals, strategies, and techniques of volleyball.
? Model and foster good sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork among players.
? Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
? Oversee game preparation, player development, and in-game decision-making.
? Adhere to district, conference, and IHSAA guidelines and policies.
Quali?cations:
? Previous coaching experience is preferred.
? A strong understanding of volleyball rules, strategies, and techniques.
? Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with players, staff, and the school community.
? A commitment to developing athletes both on and off the court.
? CPR/First Aid/AED certi?cation
? Must pass a background check.
