WyoTech’s Student Life Team is seeking a dedicated and proactive Student Life Coordinator to help cultivate a safe, structured, and supportive campus living environment. This role plays a key part in housing operations by guiding Eagle Techs, maintaining accurate student records, and ensuring facilities are clean, orderly, and well-managed. The Student Life Coordinator’s primary focus is promoting a positive student experience through strong communication, timely follow-up, and consistent policy enforcement. Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Recruit, train, manage, and evaluate resident assistant staff to assist in the goals of the department
• Assist in maintaining the housing database in an accurate and timely manner, and enter student violations into the database on a daily basis
• Follow up with student violations to ensure students are given proper instruction on how to correct problems. Guide resident assistant staff to ensure productive use of time
• Inspect housing properties to ensure resident assistant staff is properly maintaining order and cleanliness
• Oversee the direction of assigned personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluate performance and make recommendations for personnel actions; motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance
• Answer calls to Housing Phone Numbers and assist, as necessary
• Sort, log, and track mail and packages for residents and the department
• Report maintenance issues to the maintenance supervisor immediately to ensure prompt service
• Assist the housing assistant in his/her duties as necessary to ensure a smooth-running department
• Inform WyoTech Housing students of policies and violations
• Maintain a professional relationship with students and coworkers, with no fraternization with students
• Assist during campus registration and Housing check-in as assigned
• Assist in down week activities, as needed, including cleaning, room assignments, and general office assistance
• Inform the housing manager of situations in housing as they arise to ensure speedy resolution
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements (A combination of the following experience and training, or the equivalent of, would be qualifying): 

• High school diploma or equivalent from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education

• Associate's Degree or 2 to 4 years of experience in Resident Life or Student Affairs

• Current Driver's License

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
