POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Project Analyst is a critical member of the Operational Finance team within Vero’s centralized Project Management Office (PMO). Operating as a strategic partner to operations, construction, finance, and executive leadership, this role provides advanced financial insights, supports capital allocation decisions, and strengthens project governance.
This senior-level analyst leads core reporting processes, drives cost management discipline, and ensures the integrity of capital project reporting across Vero’s rapidly growing fiber deployment portfolio. The role requires strong analytical capability, business judgment, and the ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear, actionable recommendations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a senior analytical resource for the PMO’s Operational Finance team, providing expertise in project performance tracking, cost analysis, and financial governance
- Lead capital project reporting, including capex tracking, spend forecasting, milestone-based reporting, and reconciliation of project budgets vs. actuals across markets
- Own cost management processes—monitor, analyze, and validate network expenditures, vendor invoices, unit costs, and construction cost drivers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and cost-control discipline
- Drive monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including variance explanations, budget-to-actual reviews, performance trends, and insights for leadership
- Consolidate and validate inputs across operations, finance, accounting, engineering, and people teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with project objectives
- Partner with the BI & Systems team to enhance dashboards, reporting models, and analytics that create transparency into passings, capital deployment, production rates, and workforce utilization
- Support PMO grant administration efforts by ensuring proper documentation, cost categorization, capex tagging, and reimbursement package readiness
- Contribute to project governance activities, including vendor spend analysis, capital tracking, audit readiness, and standardized reporting frameworks
- Prepare executive-ready materials—summaries, visuals, presentations—for leadership, investors, and board-level reviews
- Identify process gaps and drive improvements across reporting cycles, project cost workflows, and financial data management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in business operations, FP&A, capital project reporting, or project-based financial analysis
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate findings, defend assumptions, and influence stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth, project-driven environments
- Ability to work cross-functionally and translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Telecom, infrastructure, utilities, or construction industry experience strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with BI tools such as Looker or Power BI
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis or automation
- Experience with CRMs or workflow platforms (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Exposure to GIS tools and spatial data platforms
JOB DETAILS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This role requires occasional travel up to 10% of the time for activities such as out-of-town meetings, training, or outreach activities.

- The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday with occasional weekend availability as needed to fulfill the core duties of the role.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Base pay is paid at an annual salary rate. The range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000 depending on experience.
