Description

Students will support the President’s Office in launching and managing USV Studios and related special projects. Students will help coordinate cross-studio initiatives, track deliverables, contribute to creative or technical projects, and assist in events, content, and logistics that drive the Studios forward.

This hands-on role is designed to give students real operational and creative experience inside the university’s studio ecosystem.

Qualifications


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate active projects across USV Studios (Productions, Interactive, Agency, Labs).
  • Maintain project trackers and weekly updates for the President’s Office.
  • Help plan and support studio meetings, demos, and events.
  • Contribute directly to select creative or technical studio projects.
  • Assist in preparing materials, slides, and reports for institutional initiatives.
  • Support logistics for partnerships, campaigns, and university storytelling efforts.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Maintain a 2.5 GPA

Enrolled at USV for the term with a minimum of 12 credits.

 Skills:

  • Ability to track tasks, timelines, and deliverables
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Monday.com, Google Sheets)
  • Clear written communication (updates, reports)
  • Effective verbal communication for meetings and collaboration
  • Ability to summarize progress for leadership (President’s Office)
  • Comfortable working across multiple studios or departments
  • Ability to take direction and follow through
  • Professionalism when interacting with staff, faculty, and project partners

Creative & Technical Skills (based on studio involvement)

  • Basic content creation (video, audio, graphics)
  • Familiarity with creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar
  • Basic understanding of game engines, interactive media, or prototyping
  • Experience with tools like Unity, Unreal, Blender, or other studio software (preferred, not required)

Operational & Administrative Skills

  • Ability to help coordinate demos, studio meetings, and events
  • Attention to detail for setup, logistics, and scheduling
  • Ability to prepare slides (Google Slides / PowerPoint)
  • Basic data entry or ability to maintain tracking spreadsheets
  • Collecting and organizing project materials for leadership

Soft Skills

  • Balancing multiple tasks from different studios
  • Meeting deadlines and staying organized
  • Willingness to jump into different projects
  • Ability to anticipate needs during events, demos, or production
  • Working closely with the President’s Office requires maturity, discretion, and reliability
