This role is part of Landis+Gyr’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) business, which is expected to become an independent company under new ownership by mid-2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Joining now means contributing to an exciting phase of transformation — helping shape the future organization while remaining connected to Landis+Gyr’s global values and standards throughout the transition.
Overall role :
Responsibility for product industrialisation projects: definition of production processes and equipment, implementation, software development, coordination of actions, etc.
Job activities:
Managing product industrialisation projects (new or modified) by taking responsibility for defining and coordinating activities, including:
- Management of multi-disciplinary technical aspects: mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, etc.
- Ensuring that R&D takes into account the manufacturability and testability of products during the development phase
- Drawing up and monitoring a production schedule
- Managing resources
- Reporting on activities
- Coordination with the NPI manager
Define processes, resources and operating methods
Write specifications for equipment and software for internal and external projects (service providers).
Studying workstations and layouts, drawing up electrical diagrams for equipment
Produce/commission equipment test programmes (C# language, SQL Server database)
Carrying out/monitoring the fine-tuning of the equipment
Select suppliers/service providers, negotiate contract terms and conditions and monitor the production of equipment and services
Ensure that equipment complies with standards, good practice and internal/external/legal guidelines
Drawing up or validating validation plans for production lines and drafting reports
Ensure coordination with other company departments (local and/or global LG)
