Hiring for an in-person role in San Antonio, Texas only.
What you'll get to do:
- Manage Windows/Windows Server operating systems and end-user software.
- Responsible for setting up and maintaining user workstations, including cable management, network connectivity, telephony setup, and OS and software installations.
- Responsible for managing end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, and reconfigurations.
- Maintain Hardware & software inventory levels for the IT Department.
- Responsible for creating standard and ad-hoc procedures to add to corporate technical libraries.
- Act as Tier 1 support for all end users.
- Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and ensure timely resolution of hardware and software problems on servers, workstations and network devices, in line with established RPO/RTOs and SLAs.
- Escalate issues to Advanced/Senior System Administrator(s) as necessary.
- Use frontline experience to recommend process improvement.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 25 pounds.
- Reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer information systems preferred.
- 2 years’ experience working with PCs including software and hardware applications, diagnostics and helpdesk support.
- Experience with banking systems and operations preferred.
- A+ Certification, and/or MCP Certification is desirable.
