Your new responsibilities

  • Member of product development project teams; support on the requirements management activities for complete product development cycle
  • Define the hierarchical requirements model and the configuration management for projects, considering the ams-OSRAM V-Model and compliance to ISO26262/IATF16949
  • Support the System Architect and Technical Leads how to break-down the requirements hierarchy most efficiently considering system design best practices
  • Guide project team in requirements authoring to enable high-quality requirements database; participate in requirements reviews for continuous improvement of requirements quality
  • Support project members to establish requirements traceability through design, verification, validation, and test activities
  • Closely collaborate with all R&D disciplines to implement Software tools/scripts for seamless data exchange between the requirements management tool (actual: PTC Codebeamer) and adjacent tools used in product development (e.g. Cadence Virtuoso). Continuous enhancement of the features
  • Requirements management tool support (actual: PTC Codebeamer): Establish a framework to provide support and best practices/templates to the project teams to maximize the usage Efficiency
  • Day-by-day support on requirements management specific tasks
  • ams-OSRAM and ISO26262 compliant requirements metrics reporting (compliance coverage etc.). Standardization of automatic report generation and establishing the templates for the requirements management tool
  • Regular exchange with Tool vendor(s) to improve functionality and usability. Support customer requirements exchange process


Who we are looking for


  • MSc degree in the area of Software Technology, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a strong focus on SW development
  • At least 5 years experience in Requirements Management/SW development in the Automotive and/or Semiconductor area
  • Proficient knowledge of requirements elicitation, authoring, tracing, review cycle
  • Proficiency in working with formal requirements management tools (e.g. PTC Codebeamer, Jama, ...)
  • Knowledge of Automotive/ISO26262 standards and V-model approach
  • Strong skills in software programming on PC and Linux (C++, C#, Java, Python)
  • Proficient with revision control systems (SVN, Git)
  • Knowledge of advanced API programming and data models for database based environments (e.g. REST API)
  • Basic electronic circuits, architectural design and communication interfaces understanding
  • Communication skills and proficiency in English (German is a plus)
  • Exceptional team working attitude is a must
