Building and maintaining a comprehensive process database, developing training systems for production and operational excellence and conducting process risk assessments and control measures.
Its ultimate goal is to achieve stable, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective production, ensuring the continuity and competitiveness of the company’s manufacturing operations.
Role Responsibilities:

- Develop practical production transfer plans based on equipment capabilities and production layout, ensuring seamless transition from “laboratory formulation” to “industrial-scale production.”
- Prepare detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and equipment operation guidelines, clearly defining operational standards for each production stage.
2. Process Optimization
- Continuously monitor key process parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, mixing time) during production, analyze data, and identify bottlenecks such as low efficiency, excessive raw material loss, or product instability.
- Propose and implement process improvement initiatives, such as parameter adjustments, workflow optimization, or introduction of new tools, to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
- Verify the effectiveness of improvement measures to ensure the optimized process meets quality standards and maintains repeatability.
3. Quality and Compliance Assurance
- Align all process design and execution with industry quality standards, company quality systems, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Participate in troubleshooting when nonconformities or batch variations occur; analyze root causes from a process perspective and implement corrective and preventive actions (e.g., adjusting process parameters or optimizing raw material pretreatment).
- Support the Quality department during audits and inspections by providing technical input to ensure product quality consistency throughout the lifecycle.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- With R&D: Provide feedback on manufacturability issues observed during scale-up and assist R&D in optimizing formulations for production feasibility. Communicate production-side technical needs to ensure smooth collaboration.
- With Compounding/Production Teams: Deliver process training to operators, ensure standardized operations, and promptly address on-site technical issues.
- With Management: Report directly to the Plant Manager, providing regular process performance reports and improvement updates to support decision-making. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and other departments as needed.
5. Equipment and Process Integration
- Maintain a strong understanding of equipment performance, operating principles, and maintenance requirements to ensure alignment between process design and equipment capabilities.
- Participate in the evaluation of new equipment from a process perspective; provide technical input for equipment selection, assist with commissioning, and validate process compatibility to ensure smooth integration into production.
