Key Responsibilities:
Launch, maintain, develop, and operate an H-series quantum computer as part of a small team
Support the execution of operation and development plans
Remotely operate and maintain cloud-based H-series quantum computers as a part of a global team
Contribute to novel areas of software and hardware development in support of customer-focused operations as able
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development or a related technical field
Experience with collaboration tools (e.g. version control, bug tracking systems) and general programming tools (e.g. a debugger, profiler, software testing tools)
Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate technical topics in English
Ability to travel abroad for training or other business needs
Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen
WE VALUE:
2 or more years of post-graduate experience (M.S. or Ph.D. inclusive) in a software development, software engineering, or R&D role
Experience working on software with a team including backend and QA engineers, communicating ideas, and reviewing and writing code
Proficiency in Python and web development
Interest in quantum information science (QIS) and knowledge of fundamental physics or programming concepts related to QIS
Experience with quantum software development platforms such as TKET, Qiskit, or Cirq
Documentation, technical writing, and presentation skills
