Responsible for driving the establishment, commercial strategy, and business development of a new brokerage business. This role requires a results-oriented professional with proven experience in leadership, sales, and operational management, as well as a strong understanding of the financial markets across Asia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in setting up the business infrastructure, leading go-to-market initiatives, and developing the commercial framework to achieve sustainable growth in a dynamic start-up environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall setup and operational readiness of the new brokerage business.
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion across Asia.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team, with a focus on sales and marketing functions.
- Establish effective business processes and performance frameworks to ensure efficient operations and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the formulation of sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define long-term goals and business priorities.
- Foster a professional, high-performance culture aligned with the company’s values and vision.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in management, commercial or business development within the financial services.
- Strong understanding of the Asia financial markets with established industry networks preferred.
- Demonstrated success in sales leadership and operational setup within start-up or growth environments.
- Proven ability to design and execute commercial strategies that drive measurable business results.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across multiple stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen.
