Job Summary

As a Senior Data Engineer (12729), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows to process and transform large datasets efficiently.
• Implement data validation, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to ensure the availability of clean and well-structured data.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications.
• Professional/ Advanced English skills.
• 5 years average experience in the following areas (MUST):
  • PySpark Data Engineer
  • Python Data Engineer
  • Data Bricks and/or Synapse Workspaces/Analytics (Ideally Synapse Workspaces/Analytics)
• Basic to medium knowledge:
• • T-SQL
  • Data vault and Star schema design methodology.
  • Azure (especially anyone with Synapse Dedicated / Serverless pools or Parallel Data Warehouse).
