About the Role
The Inventory Controller will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s inventory operations to ensure optimal stock levels, accuracy, and efficiency. This role involves developing inventory control procedures, coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams, and utilising inventory management systems to track and report on stock movements.

This opportunity is a Permanent Fulltime position, or we can offer a casual engagement for 6-8 Months till completion of the implementation and can be located in any of the major states.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability to meet operational demands. Minimising out of stock items in the field and warehouse.
  • Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to forecast demand and manage stock replenishment.
  • Analyse inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Manage inventory software systems and ensure data integrity.
  • Prepare and present inventory reports to senior management.
  • Managing onsite and off-site inventory utilising both SAP and Maximo
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in inventory handling.
  • Train and supervise inventory staff as needed.
  • Managing the returns policy.

About You
To be successful in your application, you will have proven experience in inventory management or working in a similar role.

You will also possess:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills (Client / Customer)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and data analytics tools (advantageous)
