We’re looking for a commercially-minded engineering leader to join our Engineering Analysis & Modelling Practice. This is more than a technical leadership role, it’s an opportunity to help shape how our capabilities are understood, valued, and deployed across Australia’s most critical industries. 

You’ll bring deep expertise in the analysis and modelling of engineering data, but just as importantly, you’ll bring a network. We’re seeking someone who knows the market, understands its nuances, and can help us unlock new opportunities by connecting our technical strengths with real-world customer needs.

What You’ll Do 

As a senior member of our team, you’ll: 

• Lead technical delivery across complex modelling and analysis projects 
• Guide and mentor engineers in best-practice modelling, simulation, and data-driven decision-making 
• Translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions for client
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your industry contacts and market insight 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape go-to-market strategies 
• Proactively contribute to client meetings, industry forums, and strategic planning sessions 

What You Bring 

We’re looking for someone who combines technical credibility with commercial instinct: 

• Proven experience in engineering analysis, modelling, or data science 
• Strong understanding of modelling tools, techniques, and frameworks 
• Experience working within Australian industries such as defence, transport, energy, health or infrastructure 
• A network of industry contacts and a track record of business development success 
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas in ways that resonate with clients and stakeholders 
• Leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and growing high-performing teams
