Materials Coordinator – Novant Health

As a Materials Coordinator, you’ll support departments across the hospital by making sure supplies, equipment, and materials are always where they need to be. You’ll help manage inventory, make deliveries, and provide great customer service to our clinical teams.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (required)

• Experience: Healthcare or inventory/logistics experience (preferred, but not required)

• Skills:

  • Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 35 lbs), and move materials throughout your shift

  • Comfortable using computers and learning inventory software

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Bonus: Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, or using pallet jacks/hand trucks

• Deliver supplies to hospital departments across 9 floors, the South Tower, and the Emergency Department

• Maintain and stock supply areas (par levels, specialty carts, and kits)

• Assist with shipping, receiving, and equipment deliveries

• Provide friendly and responsive customer service to all departments

• Input data accurately into inventory software systems

• Work closely with the Supply Chain Operations team to support hospital needs
