JOB FUNCTION

The Portfolio Reporting & Analytics Intern will support the Strategy & Analytics (S&A) team in managing the institutionalized data used for tracking investment and exit activity, portfolio financial performance and returns. The Intern will be individually mentored by members of the S&A team in New York and have direct, hands-on exposure related to tasks specific to the mentors’ day-to-day roles.

As part of our summer internship program, interns are encouraged to listen in on weekly investment committee meetings and attend our weekly speaker series to gain a comprehensive view of Riverside’s functions and collaborative culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Working with deal teams and portfolio company management teams to ensure timely and accurate collection of data related to Riverside’s investments and their performance
• Working with development team, Business Technology Office, and internal stakeholders to design and/or implement modifications to Riverside’s portfolio monitoring systems
• Aggregating and/or summarizing data to inform responses to questions from Riverside’s investors, investment professionals, and other stakeholders
• Analyzing returns and underlying financial performance of Riverside’s past and present investments to inform decision-making and shape fundraising narratives
• Researching private equity industry trends and developments
• Crafting PowerPoint presentations, bulleted talking points and/or memos to:
  • Communicate research and analytical findings
  • Shape executives’ presentations
• Other ad hoc projects to support the S&A team

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Undergraduate student from the Class of 2027 or 2028
• Track record of academic and extracurricular achievement
• Superior quantitative and communication skills
• Intellectually curious
• Self-motivated, punctual, and dependable
• Strong time management and multi-tasking ability
• Professional demeanor
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Experience working with large data sets and databases a plus

INTERNSHIP DETAILS

Dates: Start and end dates are negotiable between June 2026 and August 2026. We expect a 10-week commitment from students

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Location: NYC
