Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan targeting new multifamily and mixed-use opportunities across NC and SC.
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, investors, architects, and other key decision-makers.
- Manage the entire business development lifecycle, from lead generation and client pursuit through proposal coordination and contract negotiation.
- Partner closely with preconstruction and operations teams to ensure project pursuits are financially sound and executable.
- Track and forecast regional pipelines, market trends, and client activity.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade associations, and community functions to strengthen brand presence.
- Achieve annual new award targets that drive 20 percent+ YoY revenue growth.
Qualifications
Requirements of the Positions
- 10+ years of business development or client-facing leadership in commercial or multifamily construction (developer/GC side preferred).
- Proven track record of sourcing and securing $100MM+ in annual project awards.
- Strong network of developer, broker, and design relationships in NC/SC markets.
- Deep understanding of preconstruction, estimating, and delivery models (GMP, design-build, CM-at-risk).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.
