What would you do as a Integration Engineer - Senior Level

Mission Intelligence Group is seeking an experienced Senior Integration Engineer to join our high-impact Enterprise Engineering & Architecture (TAE) Lead Integrator Team. In this vital position, you will leverage your deep systems engineering and integration expertise to modernize the GEOINT architecture, enhancing mission capabilities across the enterprise. Your role will involve collaborating with Government stakeholders to define and implement integration processes within NGA Program Executive Offices (PEOs), ensuring alignment and enterprise-wide coordination.

You will lead cross-organizational Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) focused on key areas such as analytic modernization, data services, and IT transformation. Your technical leadership will be essential in developing engineering artifacts, conducting engineering analyses, and ensuring traceability between mission needs and architecture. This role enables you to act as a strategic advisor, shaping the future of GEOINT and delivering integrated solutions that meet mission goals efficiently and effectively.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM field – OR – 12 years of experience as an Integration Engineer in lieu of a degree

Clearance

• TS/SCI clearance adjudication

Technical Experience

• Minimum 12 years of experience in government or industry in:
  • Database management
  • Big Data analysis
• Strong working knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle, including:
  • Architecture
  • Requirements
  • CONOPS
  • Integration
  • Test
  • Transition

Desired Qualifications

GEOINT & Mission Expertise

• Senior-level experience and in-depth knowledge of geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) systems and services, including the TCPED cycle
• Technical expertise supporting modernization initiatives within the GEOINT enterprise, such as:
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Tactical Edge Computing
  • Multi-Cloud Environments

Leadership & Strategic Planning

• Proven experience leading complex system-of-systems integration projects, with:
  • Cross-organizational teams
  • Senior Government leadership engagement
• Demonstrated ability to:
  • Lead cross-organization engineering assessments, studies, and Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs)
  • Develop Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs)
  • Facilitate Integrated Project Teams (IPTs)
  • Engineer and present Courses of Action (COAs)
  • Provide briefings and updates to senior government stakeholders

Tools & Methodologies

• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with Digital Engineering tools and processes
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certification, with demonstrated experience applying SAFe practices in prior projects
