As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting processes. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, you will partner closely with our Canadian Finance and Operations teams to ensure compliance with company standards and IFRS9 requirements while supporting continuous improvement across systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely journal entries and financial reports covering all aspects of general ledger accounting.

  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and ERP system functionality.

  • Perform month-end account reconciliations and investigate outstanding or out-of-balance items.

  • Support internal and external audit activities, including preparation of standalone financial statements for Americas business units.

  • Analyze financial data, prepare monthly reports, and provide actionable recommendations.

Qualifications in this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, or 3+ years of public accounting experience

  • Strong general ledger experience; Oracle experience preferred

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, charts, etc.)

  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and ability to apply them in varied situations

  • Knowledgeable of overall general ledger functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, inter-company transactions, accruals, and intangibles.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and professional communication skills

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Public accounting background and IFRS9 reporting exposure

  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive process improvement initiatives

  • Effective time management and organization skills in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: Based on qualifications we anticipate the hiring range will be $85,000-$95,000

Work Model: This role offers a hybrid schedule, combining 3 in-office days each week with remote flexibility.
