EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience.

     

     

    Required Skills:

  • Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in mechanical systems design and analysis.
  • General knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical skills to provide technical solutions to a wide range of problems.
  • Ability to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions.
  • Proficient in statistical data analysis and compiling information to support procurement decisions.
  • Excellent judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for frequent inter-organizational and customer contacts.
  • Ability to contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage records and follow up on procurement processes.
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements (DoDI 5000.80).
  • Experience with centralized documentation repositories, configuration control, and version management.
  • Ability to coordinate technical, schedule, and cost data across multiple stakeholders.
