Job Summary: The Echocardiography Technologist PRN:
Performs 2D, M-mode, colorflow, pulsed, and continuous wave Doppler on adult patients throughout the hospital. Assists the physician with Tranesophageal, contrast, doubtamine, and stress echocardiophy. Cross trains personnel from department into echocardiography.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Successful completion of a recognized AMA or AMA equivalent allied health program for diagnostic medical cardiac sonography, or an Associates Degree of equivalent college hours in the health sciences, nursing, radiologic technology or respiratory therapy, or equivalent of five years of work experience.
- Must be a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, or a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentials International.
- Current CPR Certification required.
Shift: PRN / Casual (approximately 10 hours per week). This position will cover on-call duties on weekdays and weekends.
Salary Range: Minimum 58.00/hour - Maximum 58.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
