We’re looking for an inspiring, hands-on Director of Global EHS&S to lead our worldwide Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security strategy across our operations in the USA, Canada, Mexico, and China.In this high-impact role, you’ll shape and execute a global vision for safety, sustainability, and security — setting policies, driving compliance, and embedding a “Zero Harm” culture throughout every level of our organization. You’ll collaborate with senior leadership, site operations teams, and corporate functions to elevate EHS&S performance, mitigate risk, and create safer, more sustainable workplaces everywhere we operate.
Key responsibilities
Strategy and Leadership: Develop and drive a global EHS&S strategy aligned with business objectives, fostering a strong, consistent EHS&S culture across all manufacturing operations.
Program Management: Design, implement, and maintain global EHS&S management systems, including standards like ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, to ensure standardized and effective programs.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all global manufacturing locations comply with applicable federal, state, and local EHS&S regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, and international equivalents). Serve as the primary subject matter expert on EHS&S regulations for the company.
Risk Management: Conduct and oversee regular risk assessments and safety audits at Creation sites to identify and control workplace hazards. Advise management on – and help drive to resolutions - corrective and preventative actions.
Incident Management: Lead and participate in significant incident investigations, conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Track, report, and analyze leading and lagging EHS&S indicators and metrics to drive strategic improvements.
Training and Development: Create and execute a comprehensive EHS&S training program for all employees and contractors, from new hires to senior management, to enhance safety awareness and competence.
Policies: Draft and update EHS&S policies and procedures.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Engineering, HR, and Legal, to integrate EHS&S considerations into all business processes.
Performance Monitoring: Oversee the collection and analysis of EHS&S performance metrics (KPIs), reporting results to leadership and using data to prioritize initiatives and track progress.
Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging tools like Six Sigma or Lean methodologies to enhance EHS&S processes.
Emergency Response: Develop and manage emergency preparedness and disaster recovery plans and procedures for all sites.
ESG: Participate in ongoing development and maintenance of, and reporting on, the Company’s ESG efforts.
Collaboration: Initiate, drive, spearhead the sharing of EHS&S best practices and lessons learned across the enterprise.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Health, and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
8+ years of progressive EHS&S experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role overseeing multiple sites.
In-depth, hands-on knowledge of federal and international EHS&S regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.
Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing EHS&S programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 45001).
Demonstrated ability to lead cultural change and influence stakeholders at all levels of a global organization.
Experience leading incident investigations and performing root cause analysis.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify EHS&S risks and trends.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $150,000-$175,000 USD per year. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, location, and shift. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on the date of hire, schedule type, and hours worked.
