IT Support Specialist na None

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
• Support user account management, including setup, password resets, and access provisioning in Active Directory and other systems.
• Document all support activities and resolutions within the designated ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams or external vendors as necessary.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets and supplies.
• Participate in onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper setup and recovery of equipment.
• Adhere to organizational IT policies, procedures, and security standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra, and common enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.

Preferred Competencies:

• Experience with help desk ticketing platforms (e.g., Jira Service Management).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Basic understanding of identity management (e.g., SSO).
• Exposure to remote support tools and virtual desktop environments.

Working Conditions:

• Working onsite in Brookfield, WI.
• May require occasional lifting of equipment (up to 40 lbs).
• Availability for after-hours support or participation in an on-call rotation may be required.

Pay range is $23.00-$24.00 per hour.

This is an in-person position and will require candidates to work in our Brookfield, WI corporate office, unless accommodations are otherwise agreed upon.
