POSITION SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to manage the daily activities of HCV finance team members. This position is responsible for analyzing the accounting data of the HCV program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare monthly VMS Report, monthly financial report, and process month end closing.
Supervise staff and direct the payables, receivables, and other functions of assigned staff.
Analyze accounts between accounting systems related to the VMS to ensure both general ledgers are accurate and identify and resolve all discrepancies between the two general ledgers.
Complete bi-monthly debit card enrollment for program participants.
Analyze historical data to identify discrepancies; recommend and correct errors.
Review department procedures and provide recommendations and ensure timely submission of all HUD reporting requirements.
Performs all other duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in an Accounting or Finance. Must have supervisory experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is considered a plus.
This position also requires comprehensive knowledge of accounting theory, principles, and practices; effective analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in conducting audits and/or reviews preferred. The ideal candidate will possess an adaptable, flexible disposition and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; must be able to interface with various levels of internal and external contacts in a confident, professional and diplomatic manner.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
