TITLE:                  Ticket Seller

LOCATION:         Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort

STATUS:              Full- and Part-Time shifts available, Hourly, Seasonal

SCHEDULE:         Shifts vary between 8:00AM and 4:00PM

  • Must have weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) availability

SUMMARY

As a Ticket Cashier at Snowbird, you are responsible for providing excellent guest service while selling lift tickets and Snowbird season passes. You’ll answer customer questions relating to Snowbird and Snowbird activities and answer the ticket office phone. At the end of your shift, you’ll “Client Close”, log out of everything, restart the computer and perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Accurately sell multiple types of tickets.
  • Provide friendly and efficient guest service.
  • Answer ticket office phones.
  • Answer guest questions related to Snowbird and resort activities.
  • Occasional stocking and cleaning.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Cashier experience is preferred not required.
  • Great listening and speaking skills.
  • Multitasking is a must.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • You must have weekend availability (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays).
  • Part-time positions must be available for a minimum of 2 shifts a week, including weekends and holidays.
  • Full-time positions must be available for 5 shifts a week, including weekends and holidays.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • You must be prepared to stay overnight if necessary, on occasional times of road closures.
  • May experience unusual stress from high business volumes, deadlines, continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
  • Must be able to perform math with accuracy in counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • General office environment with limited physical activity.
  • Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult, frequent exposure to noise.
  • Direct and continuous contact with guests, co-workers, management, and other departments.
