Job Summary:
As the Customer Service Manager – Aerospace, you will lead our Aerospace customer service team and play a vital role in ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will strengthen and manage customer and vendor relationships, ensuring consistent communication and long-term satisfaction. This position is responsible for managing the full customer service process from quotation to order fulfillment, driving process improvement, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and vendors within the aerospace sector.

 

Job Duties:

  • Lead and develop the Aerospace customer service team, fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
  • Manage the quoting process for new and existing customers, ensuring timely, accurate, and competitive proposals.
  • Oversee sales order entry and processing, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company policies and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Aerospace customer service operations, coordinating with internal departments to resolve issues and support customer needs.
  • Strengthen and manage customer and vendor relationships, ensuring consistent communication and long-term satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to support customer-specific initiatives, process improvements, and tailored solutions.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement process enhancements to improve service quality, turnaround time, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, export regulations, and internal quality management systems.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of customer service or account management experience, preferably within the Aerospace, Space, or Defense industry.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Strong understanding of sales order management, quoting processes, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Occasional standing, walking, or moving about the facility to coordinate with internal teams.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally (e.g., files, product samples, office supplies).
  • May require limited travel (domestic or international) to customer or vendor sites, trade shows, or company meetings.
