What You Will Do:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure provisioning solutions.
  • Provide expert technical assistance to customers and internal escalation including support, configuration, diagnostics and troubleshooting various systems, hardware, and software to full resolution. Examples include troubleshooting, upgrades, O365 implementations and migrations, etc.
  • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
  • Assist with the discovery, capture, reporting and forecasting of cloud infrastructure operating costs.
  • Consult with peers, managers, and customers to develop technical specifications for solutions that will meet or exceed business requirements.
  • Ensure that technology implementations are aligned with our best practices for architectural, design and other related standards.
  • Continually maintain and increase knowledge and proficiency of cloud infrastructure and infrastructure automation related technologies.
  • Partner with vendors technology experts to understand how their products enhance and improve our infrastructure, on premise and in the cloud.
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis and reporting.
  • Work independently and with teams to deliver solutions as a technical resource assigned to a project or group of projects.
  • Write and maintain documentation for break / fix, change processes, and knowledgebase, etc. 

 

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in IT system administration, solution design and support
  • Professional etiquette
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical clients and internal team members.
  • Must be open to travel/site visits to company locations.
  • Understanding of ITIL/Service Management
  • Ability to learn about and implement new technologies quickly and accurately
  • Devotion to the success of our team and our clients
  • Obtain additional certifications and actively pursue learning and skill building
  • Valid driver’s license with no restrictions

Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365/AzureAD.
  • Demonstrable experience with server virtualization technologies via Azure and VMWare, including deploying, patching, upgrading, and monitoring.
  • Experience in Microsoft tenant migrations and migrations to M365 preferred
  • Must have real-world, hands-on experience delivering messaging and collaboration solutions utilizing Microsoft Exchange and other Office 365 services within medium/large complex environments with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Microsoft Cloud Platforms: Office/Microsoft 365 SaaS and Azure VMs/AzureAD/network/vNets implementation and management experience
  • Expert knowledge in Windows server design and implementation, VMware, Hyper-V, SAN, LAN/WAN routing and switching, and cybersecurity
  • Demonstrable Experience with scripting languages, especially PowerShell.
  • Demonstrable skills troubleshooting virtual server environments.
  • Solid experience with networking technology, especially TCP/IP and virtual networks.
  • Hands on experience with designing, implementing, and supporting past and current Windows server platforms: Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, Azure
  • Extensive experience with hypervisor implementation, tuning management, and troubleshooting, including V2V and P2V migrations
  • Extensive experience working with vendors on problem resolution and solution design
