Salary Range:    $18.00 - $21.00 Hourly

We’re seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and help improve our processes and overall product quality. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to contribute to real manufacturing projects from documenting processes and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to assisting with safety and design improvements. You’ll gain meaningful, on-the-floor experience while seeing your ideas directly impact operations. 

The intern will support ongoing process improvement and quality initiatives at the facility, contributing to key engineering projects such as copper plating optimization, scratch mitigation, and safety guarding enhancements. This role involves both data-driven problem solving and practical implementation, including limited CAD support for equipment or process modifications. 

 

  • Support engineering team in Copper Plating DOE (Design of Experiments). 

  • Participate in the After Shave Scratch Mitigation Project to improve surface quality. 

  • Contribute to Safety Guarding Initiatives, including potential CAD support or expansion of current safety systems. 

  • Assist with documenting and standardizing key manufacturing processes. 

  • Provide project management and reporting support for ongoing engineering projects. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in productivity, safety, and quality. 

 


  • Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Technology or Industrial Engineering program (junior or senior level preferred). 

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) 

  • Experience or coursework in CAD (SolidWorks or AutoCAD preferred) 

  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills 

  • Prior internship or hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting preferred 

  • Comfortable working in an industrial or metals processing environment (not office-based) 

  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with a high degree of independence
