We are currently seeking a Sales Hunter for the Energy Process market. The ideal candidate should possess the following minimum competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree in either Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering
- Min of 3 years of experience either working within or selling products to Chemical/Petrochemical markets.
- EPC experience will also be considered.
- Proficient with CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Travel up to 50%.
This position will be located with the sales team in Houston, TX.

Join our team as an Energy Process Sales Engineer, responsible for driving direct sales of Tranter products and services in the chemical and petrochemical markets. You’ll identify new business opportunities, develop customer relationships, and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies and budgets for your region
- Achieve sales targets and key metrics
- Manage quoting, CRM, and sales processes
- Identify and develop new markets and customers
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Conduct business development with EPCs and OEMs
- Utilize social media and digital tools for sales outreach
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and company guidelines
- Travel up to 50% required
Qualifications
- Accredited university degree in Engineering (Chemical or Petrochemical preferred)
- 3–10 years’ experience in sales to chemical/petrochemical markets; EPC experience a plus
- Proven track record managing a sales territory with $2M+ annual revenue
- Proficient with CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in lean and/or six sigma environments preferred
- Strong communication, prospecting, and business development skills
- English required; bilingual a plus
