What You’ll Do
As a Manufacturing Planner, you’ll be the hub of coordination between our plant, field teams, and delivery vendors. Your mission: create and manage production and delivery schedules that meet customer needs while optimizing resources and costs. Key responsibilities include:
- Plan & Optimize: Develop production and delivery schedules that balance customer demand, plant capacity, material availability, and delivery logistics.
- Adapt & Communicate: Respond to schedule changes and material corrections, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Collaborate: Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling and logistics questions with third-party haulers and internal teams.
- Analyze & Improve: Use scheduling software and reporting tools to track service levels, freight costs, and production efficiency.
- Ensure Accuracy: Review hauler invoices, process returns, and manage billing for packages and deliveries.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree, preferred
- Related administrative experience, preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate across teams and vendors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (experience with scheduling and logistics software is a plus).
- Ability to analyze data and make decisions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
