Job Scope:

As a Senior Demand Planning Analyst at Liberty Hardware, you will be instrumental in our supply chain efforts, promoting teamwork and accuracy in demand forecasting. This is a meaningful opportunity to engage with a dynamic team and tap into your expertise to have a notable impact on our business. Your duties will entail working closely with both internal and external partners, including our associates in Masco Asia, to ensure flawless supply that meets customer demands. Additionally, you will have a significant role in mentoring and nurturing our Demand Planning Analysts, fostering a culture of continual improvement and triumph.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop weekly and monthly demand plans through advanced forecasting tools and processes, ensuring outstanding accuracy and reliability.
  • Assess and recommend improvements to existing processes or tools to deliver the best possible demand plan, improving our operational efficiency.
  • Complete daily forecasting routines as defined by department management, ensuring smooth and consistent operations.
  • Facilitate regular forecast updates to key collaborators, including sales, supply planning, inventory, operations planning, marketing, and channel management, to keep them informed of any changes that may affect service or inventory.
  • Manage safety stock levels efficiently based on current inventory and projected sales, ensuring efficient stock availability.
  • Review and update customer demand schedules to enhance planning accuracy and customer contentment.
  • Foster partnerships with internal and external associates to gain deeper insights into demand dynamics, thereby enhancing forecast accuracy and customer service.
  • Coordinate with Masco Asia counterparts to communicate demand requirements, ensuring the appropriate supply levels are maintained to satisfy customer needs. Collaborate on the timing and execution of customer events to ensure flawless delivery.
  • Serve as the supply planning link to our sales teams and external customers, presenting supply plans, potential issues, and action plans through weekly reports and communications.
  • Support supply planning to meet customer needs by completing urgent DC transfers, analyzing demand, and coordinating expedited shipping.
  • Work within the approved budget, diligently focusing on cost-saving measures and contributing to the company’s profits and revenue while acting as a good steward of company resources.
  • Illustrate a focus on continual improvement through active participation in efforts that drive financial growth, time optimization, and waste reduction for the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business, with an MBA preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in product or channel marketing.
  • Proven experience in consumer packaged goods, home improvement, or building products.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple channels or product lines with P&L responsibility.
  • Remarkable analytical skills and the capability to effectively employ forecasting tools and processes.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities, demonstrating a successful history of cultivating connections with both internal and external collaborators.
  • Taking initiative in solving problems and skillfully applying remedies in a constantly changing atmosphere.

The pay range for this position is $75,000 – $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
