Job Title: Executive Director of Food & Beverage
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports to: Resort Manager
The Executive Director of Food & Beverage will oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations at Camelback Resort. As a member of the executive committee, this leader will be responsible for driving excellence across multiple revenue centers including a la carte and concession dining, banquet operations, culinary, and beverage programs. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maximizing profitability, and maintaining high standards of quality, service, and operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational direction for all food and beverage outlets.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
- Ensure consistent delivery of outstanding guest experiences through high-quality food and service.
- Maintain effective controls over food, beverage, and labor costs.
- Partner with senior leaders to drive team performance and operational excellence.
- Oversee menu development, concept innovation, and overall F&B brand positioning.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Next Level Duties:
- Lead and motivate large, multi-level teams, fostering a culture of engagement and excellence.
- Direct the opening and re-concepting of restaurants and outlets.
- Analyze and manage P&L statements for diverse and high-volume operations.
- Collaborate with other executive team members to align F&B goals with resort-wide objectives.
- Identify opportunities for concept growth, brand partnerships, and guest experience enhancement.
Must Have Personal Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in food and beverage management.
- Proven success in multi-unit and high-volume operations, including concessions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Experience developing and executing budgets, cost controls, and business strategies.
- Creative thinker with experience in concept development and repositioning.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods to perform administrative duties.
- Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods when visiting outlets or events.
