Job Title: Licensing Associate (On Site Position)

 

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Licensing Associate to join our team. The Licensing Associate will play a key role in supporting the licensing process, maintaining relationships with partners, and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for consumer products and the licensing industry.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Attend calls/meetings with existing and potential partners and build strong relationships
  • Update recurring reports for licensors: placement reports/decks, UPC reports, Amazon ASIN reports, sell-through reports, meeting recaps, etc.
  • Maintain and update centralized files
  • Collaborate with licensors to facilitate product development with approvals of 40+ different lines of business
  • Ownership of licensing approvals internally in collaboration with Product Approvals, Design and Product Development teams
  • Review product samples, artwork, and packaging to ensure alignment with brand standards and contractual requirements
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and new licensing opportunities.

 



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management skills with the capability to multi-task and balance various projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI) and database management software.
  • Knowledge of licensing industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements is a plus.
