About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and composed Systems Engineer to deliver exceptional Onsite technical support for a high-profile White Plains, NY client with C-Suite executives. You will be the primary onsite technical resource, managing urgent support requests and maintaining critical infrastructure while ensuring outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate brings not only deep technical knowledge but also excellent interpersonal skills and calm under pressure.

The team member would work at a client location in White Plains, NY Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide daily onsite support for desktop, network, and infrastructure issues, prioritizing C-Suite responsiveness and discretion.
  • Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking environments, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and OUs.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and Entra ID, including user management and cloud integrations.
  • Financial Application maintenance and troubleshooting i.e. Quickbooks, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Sage 300 ERP or similar
  • Assist with IT projects including network design, migrations, and disaster recovery implementations.
  • Document procedures, maintain system inventory, and ensure consistent compliance with standards and best practices.

Qualifications


Required:

  • Proven success supporting C-Suite and executive clients in fast-paced, high-pressure environments (e.g., finance, legal, hedge funds).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent customer service orientation.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Expert knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, Microsoft 365, and desktop support.
  • Proficiency with  PowerShell.
  • Experience supporting remote access tools, backup technologies, and cloud-based infrastructure.

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical support and systems administration.
  • MSP (Managed Services Provider) background.
  • Familiarity with the ConnectWise suite.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment (servers, computers, etc.)
  • Expertise with MS Excel file management and functions a plus
  • Experience with CRM database applications such as ACT a plus.
