Quality Assurance Tester (Manual & Automation) – Restaurant Technology

As a Full Stack Engineer with an emphasis on frontend development, you will focus on creating intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that define the digital experience for restaurants. At Mad Mobile, you will leverage modern frameworks like React and TypeScript to build responsive, scalable web applications that enhance customer engagement and streamline operations. Working collaboratively with design, product, and backend teams, you will transform complex business requirements into elegant, user-focused solutions while integrating AI-driven tools and cloud technologies to accelerate innovation and deliver impact at scale.

LOCATION: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Tampa, FL. This is an in-office role.

NOTE:  Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States (U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or valid EAD holders). Sponsorship is not available for this role.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with a deep understanding of building and deploying applications with cutting-edge technologies & AI tools. Enterprise experience is preferred
  • Proven experience as a full-stack engineer working with enterprise code, with a solid understanding of programming languages including but not limited to JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Experience in integrating and leveraging AI-driven development tools to enhance efficiency, such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI APIs, TensorFlow, Cursor or other machine learning frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement of applications.

 

Key Skills Needed to be Successful in the Role:

  • Proficiency in TypeScript programming language and associated frameworks.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with AI-assisted coding tools and machine learning APIs.
  • Proficiency in relational databases and SQL/NoSQL queries.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools.

You may be a good fit if you have these additional skills and/or educational background:

  • Experience with JavaScript programming and proficiency in related technologies (ReactJS, TypeScript, NodeJS). Exposure to Kotlin, Linux, Android are a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
  • Experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks, including OpenAI APIs, Claude MCP, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with CI’CD pipelines
  • Understanding of mobile app development or mobile-responsive web design.
  • Relevant certifications in TypeScript, APIs, and related fields.
