Sanford Pride Elementary School is seeking a compassionate, energetic and responsive educator (Ed Tech 1,2,3) to join our grade K,1 self-contained behavior classroom. This individual will support students with both emotional and academic learning goals. Duties include providing support to all students as needed in the self-contained and mainstream classes as appropriate, assisting the teacher in implementing academic and behavioral goals, implementing de-escalation procedures and behavior support plans and the collection of data. Responsibilities include:
Supporting the classroom teacher in implementing individualized lessons and goals
Collecting and maintaining daily data on student skill acquisition
Assisting students as they transition within the school building
Promoting a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications:
Current Ed Tech I, II, or III certification or eligibility to obtain certification
Maine CHRC/Fingerprinting approval (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and demonstrate compassion for students

Sanford Pride is a PreK - Grade 4 school located in the heart of Sanford, Maine. In addition to district curriculum and programs, our school has a service dog program that serves all students and adults. Our community also has a greenhouse and an outdoor classroom.
