The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), one of the largest and most influential professional associations globally is seeking a visionary, inspirational Executive Director to serve as the chief executive of the organization. ASCE's headquarters is in Reston, Virginia.
With a membership of over 160,000 civil engineers worldwide, ASCE is at the forefront of shaping the future-built environment globally. Our fastest-growing segment is outside North America, with members in 174 countries, 30 international sections, and 120 international student chapters. ASCE is the world's largest publisher of civil engineering content, a premier provider of continuing education and conferences, and a powerful voice in public policy and infrastructure advocacy, best known for our Report Card for America's Infrastructure.
The Executive Director partners closely with a volunteer-led Board to drive ASCE's future strategic vision, goals, and organizational transformation, mobilize resources globally, and inspire and engage a high-performing team of professionals and volunteers. You will lead a complex and impactful enterprise that includes nine technical Institutes, ten geographic regions, a specialty certification body, and the ASCE Foundation.
